Quick Hits for Saturday 7/24

It’s officially been two weeks since the release of Whisper and people are starting to finish the book! I’ve been getting some feedback through personal texts and social media and people are enjoying it!

As you are completing Whisper, please don’t be shy to leave a review on Amazon or Goodreads or, if you’re part of the #bookstagram community, Instagram is another great place to leave reviews. This is important for me because algorithms algorithms algorithms! The more reviews I have, the more credibility my book garners and with that comes more readers and more opportunity to gain a following. With more books down the pipeline, I want to make sure people understand that a Braxton Book is not only always original, but also quality!

The first shipment of books will FINALLY be here this upcoming week (according to Amazon) and I can’t wait to ship these signed copies out. What’s everyone preference? Just the signature or a short message included? Let me know in the comments or contact me if you’re looking for something specific!

As I’m always trying to improve my branding and my audience, I recently did business with a brand new company known as Ace Wayz. Ace Wayz is a media company that focuses both on content creation as well as social media management. Seeing this as an opportunity to increase my presence on social media and I can tell you I was more than satisfied with the final product. After discussing my goals, a strategy was created to help me achieve these goals. With the service I purchased, I was given multiple forms of content that I’ll be able to use to further promote Whisper and acquire the readers and reviews I’m looking for. In addition, I was given detailed instructions on how to improve my social media accounts to further boost engagement. I want to give a huge thank you to Jonathan of Ace Wayz and if you’re looking to boost your presence on social media at a very affordable rate, Ace Wayz is the way to go!

I’ve been thinking back to the first book I released, Random Comments, a lot lately and though it still holds a special place in my literary heart, I know that it wasn’t my best work. I was so new to this entire experience. So I’ve been thinking lately that I should go back and give it a 2020 update. I’m a better writer than I was since then and I have a better grip on book publishing now so I think I can make Random Comments a better experience. For those who have read it, what do you think of that idea?

Thank you to everyone who continues to support not only Whisper but if you have ever purchased a book of mine, know that I appreciate it so much!
